pic1 “Over the past 9 years, I have dedicated my life to helping others find their way to sobriety.” When you’ve combined years of personal experience with years of formal training you get the best of both worlds when teaching recovery. Morgan is a Saddleback College graduate in Human Services, Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (C.A.T.C. I), member of California Association of Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE), member of the California Certification Board of Alcohol/Drug Counselors, Certified C.C.J.P., Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist B.C.R.P.S., and a graduate of MLE Academy of Coaching Excellence. Morgan also spends time teaching, coaching and educating interns about addiction recovery through the Saddleback Human Services Internship Program for new graduates looking to work in the field. Morgan has dedicated his time not only to treating clients from around the country but also helping the families of those being treated recover.

Dr. Araz Tawfique

picture Dr. Araz Tawfique, M.D. is an award-winning, Board Certified psychiatrist in Solana Beach, CA with over ten years of experience working with people with diverse needs. After starting a pediatrics residency at the University of Pennsylvania, he discovered his true passion for psychiatry and completed his psychiatric residency training at the University of Reno, Las Vegas, where he became experienced in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. A San Diego native, he returned to Southern California to receive additional training in psychotherapy and start his private practice. His specialties are psychiatry and psychotherapy, which are techniques that facilitate a better understanding of thoughts, feelings, and motivations. His approach explores the interplay of biology, psychology, and sociology in shaping individuals and their relationships. Dr. Tawfique has additional experience and specialization in addiction medicine and substance abuse treatment.

Dr. Tawfique’s experience includes delivering comprehensive addiction treatment at substance abuse centers in San Diego County, work as the Medical Director of Consultation/Liaison Psychiatric Services at Sharp Coronado Hospital, providing psychiatric emergency evaluations at San Diego County Psychiatric Hospital, and work in private practice psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Peter J. Scheid, M.D.

pic Dr. Scheid is a board certified family physician and addiction medicine specialist. He obtained his medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan followed by a residency in Family Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. He also completed a Fellowship in Addiction Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, during which he trained at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, Loma Linda’s Behavioral Medicine Center, and at the Kaiser Permanente Chemical Dependency Recovery Program in Fontana, California. He has worked as a family physician in academia as well as in a busy community clinic and has held medical directorships in a variety of settings. He believes that recovery is possible for every person struggling with chemical dependency, and that recovery encompasses much more than abstinence from mind-altering substances. In addition to providing medical detoxification and ongoing care for those in recovery, he is interested in the application of mindfulness meditation in preventing relapse and supporting ongoing recovery.

RadoPagac – Fitness Trainer & Nutrition

Rado holds over 30 different national and international titles for winning both natural bodybuilding and fitness competitions. Titles include the World Championship in Natural Bodybuilding (2006), Natural Olympia in Greece (2007), Mr. Natural USA in 2008 and the overall winner of the Muscle Beach International Classic in 2010. Rado grew up in Slovakia and graduated from Slovak University with a Masters in Human Nutrition, Biochemistry and Physical Education. While in Prague he was the fitness editor for a European edition of Men's Health Magazine, writing numerous articles about nutrition, training and health. Rado has a very personal approach and works with each client to meet their individual fitness needs and goals. Each client has a tailored plan developed specifically developed for them.

pic5 Terry Greenwood – House Manager, Mentor Terry has worked in the substance abuse treatment field for over 15 years. He assists clients with performance of their assignments, time management and keeps the household day to day operations enforced. He transports clients to scheduled activities, treatment sessions, meetings, social gatherings and errands.
